AI in Action: Tools for Inclusive and Effective Instruction

This session showcases how AI tools are transforming K-12 education by addressing the variability in today’s classrooms based on the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Framework . Educators will leave with practical strategies and tools to improve reading and writing outcomes, support executive functioning skills, and more, leading to a more personalized learning experience for all students. The session will examine platforms such as Diffit, Brisk Teaching, Curipod, Trellis, Aha Apple, and IdeaMap, showcasing how they tailor instruction to individual learning profiles. Focused on teacher-initiated ways to use AI, we will explore simple but powerful tools that support many of the practices we use in our classroom today. Participants will leave with practical ideas, a cheat-sheet to guide next steps, and AI supports applicable for tomorrow.
